Aisha Jamila Hinds, an American actress best known for her roles in the television shows The Shield and True Blood. The actress was the first Indian to be on the jury at the Cannes Film Festival. Bachchan made an appearance on screen in Gurinder Chadha's Bride and Prejudice a musical and dance adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. Bachchan has been able to add her stunning beauty and glam to her first major English film. After releasing Provoked the a True Story in English, she returned to Bollywood and was a part of the blockbuster Dhoom: 2 (2007). In April 2007 she married Abhishek Bachchan a frequent co-star as well as the son of Bollywood great Amitabh Bachchan in a marriage that reunited two of India's greatest personalities.
