Aisha Jamila Hinds, an American actress best known for her roles in the television shows The Shield and True Blood. In the years since her debut she has demonstrated her ability to perform on shows like Under the Dome, 9-1-1 Detroit and 1-8-7. Anna's character on Assault on Precinct 13 was her first major break. Her first recognition came from her part in the 2005 biographical movie All the Way. Hind was also praised for the role she performed as Harriet Tubman within WGN America's drama series set in the past called Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television have renewed the series' third season. Hind just wrapped filming on the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters that will release around the middle of 2019. Her father Krishnaraj died in the month of March after a lengthy stint as a scientist for India's Army. Vrinda, her mother is a domestic worker. Her older brother is Aditya Rai who is a merchant navy engineer. Bachchan's brother produced and co-wrote Dil Ka Rishta, along with his mother. Arya Vidya Mandir was the high school in which Bachchan was a student after her family moved to Mumbai. Jai Hind College in Mumbai was where she completed the intermediate portion of her schooling for one year. After that, she started at D.G. Ruparel College Matunga was where she was awarded a mark of 90% for her H.S.C. exams. When she was in her teens she spent five years learning classical music and dancing. She loved zoology. Bachchan had been studying architecture, won the title of Miss World in the year 1994. The model was ushered into the highest rung by winning the name. The model was offered lucrative jobs in PepsiCo Inc. and Vogue magazine and also an ambassador contract with L'Oreal Paris in 2003. She had two acclaimed parts: Iruvar and Aur pyaar Hogaia. Bachchan became the front of New Bollywood after both films challenged the conventional structure of Bollywood films of the time. Bachchan was crowned the queen of Bollywood through her performance as Paro the betrayed love In Devdas, (2002). Devdas was among Bollywood's most successful films. It also was the first film that was screened at Cannes Film Festival. Chokher bali (2003) was her next film in which she won praise. It is a thriller that is based on Rabindranath Tagore's novel. The actress was the first Indian to be on the jury at the Cannes Film Festival. Bachchan made an appearance on screen in Gurinder Chadha's Bride and Prejudice a musical and dance adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. Bachchan has been able to add her stunning beauty and glam to her first major English film. After releasing Provoked the a True Story in English, she returned to Bollywood and was a part of the blockbuster Dhoom: 2 (2007). In April 2007 she married Abhishek Bachchan a frequent co-star as well as the son of Bollywood great Amitabh Bachchan in a marriage that reunited two of India's greatest personalities.
