Bernadette and Jen

Bernadette Peters (born Bernadette Lazzara, born on 28 February 1948) is an American actress singer and writer of children's books from Ozone Park Queens New York . She has had a long career spanning more than five years. She's performed at concert, released solo albums as well as appeared on TV. The actress was nominated, and she won three Drama Desk Awards. She's won Grammy Awards for four of her Broadway recordings of cast. Peters began her career as an actor on stage as a small teenager. Then she moved on into film and television in the 1970s. Her early work, including her appearances as a character on The Muppet Show The Carol Burnett Show along with various television shows and her roles in movies like Silent Movie The Jerk Pennies from Heaven was highly praised. In the year 1980, she decided returning to Broadway and was one of the top performers of this stage over the next three decades.
