Christopher Peter Meloni, an American actor, is most well-known for his part in the tv show Law & Order Special Victims Unit. He identified his interest towards acting from his days in college and studied acting in The University of Colorado at Boulder. Although he worked on TV and film but his performances on the small screen have earned him a lot of recognition. The ability of his characters to appear in both legal and non-legal settings has captured the attention of audiences. He played the role of a serial killer in the first TV show he appeared in and then later played an NYPD detective. In recognition of his performance on tiny screens, he has received many nominations for highly coveted Emmy Awards as well as PRISM Awards. The striking blue eyes that can be said to help the actor look gorgeous. They have helped to convey the rough characters in an enthralling manner. In 2006, he was featured on People's Magazine's Sexiest Men Alive list.
